As a registered foodbank voucher provider we will hold vouchers, which we are able to give direct to an individual or family in crisis. On receipt of a voucher the recipient can take it to a Distribution Centre. The voucher will be able to be used to supply food items (enough for 3 days), which can be then carried away in branded supermarket plastic carrier bags, thereby giving recipients a degree of anonymity.

The foodbank gives food to families in crisis, either in Emergency Food Boxes (EFBs), or as bagged food from one of the foodbank Distribution Centres. The food includes cereals, milk, fruit juice, soup, pasta, meat, fish, pudding and vegetables, providing balanced and nutritional meals for 3 days.

The foodbank Distribution centres stock all the food items required as well as some additional items. Such as household items, baby food, tin openers and extra treats or snacks.
